Race The Gates views series and leagues to be the same. We will refer to both of them as "series". A series is scored as Individuals and may be scored as Teams as well. You create and manage a series using the RTG Race Software.

The race software allows you to:

• Choose a series name - A series may span several resorts so make sure the name is unique.
• Choose a scoring method:
1. Based on Race The Gates Team Points
2. World Cup 1 - Use Place Points 100, 80, 60, 50, 45, 40, 36, 32... to score 30 places.
3. World Cup 2 - Use Place Points 50, 45, 40, 35, 30, 26, 22, 19... to score 20 places.
4. WI High School Scoring - unlike the other supported high school scoring methods, Wisconsin fits in well with the series scoring.
• Designate the number of races that count: ALL, or 2, 3, 4...or 30. If not set to All, then once that number of races is exceeded, the worst result(s) for each competitor will be dropped. For example: if you had a series of 7 races and only the best 5 counted, then set this to 5.
• Designate the number of team members used to score a team: 2, 3, 4 , .... or 30
• Designate male/female team ratio requirements - specify the minimum number of males or females to score (can be zero)
